He’s very tall and broad through the shoulders, perhaps six three or four, and there doesn’t look like there’s a soft place on him anywhere. Whereas Michael is everything hipster and young and cute enough to be a twink, Gilbert Chandler is… not. I arrive early and take a table where I can see the door, ordering a Diet Coke as I wait.

Today, Gil Chandler, Jackson’s best friend, has agreed to meet me at the Red Robin downtown near the mall.

I spoke with David’s best friend, Michael Crane, yesterday. While we see the action of the novel from David’s point of view, there are other really important characters who populate David and Jackson’s world. The main characters of David, Renewed are David Snyder and his love interest Jackson Henry.
